The aging of America’s population means that the demand for people trained to meet the needs of older adults is increasing. If you have a desire to work with older adults and promote quality care and services, in depth studies in Leadership in Aging Services will set you on the right path.
The Specialization in Leadership in Aging Studies is offered within the M.S in Applied Human Development and Family Sciences Program. You will hone your knowledge and skills necessary to address the increasing demand for leaders who know how to develop and provide programs for our aging population. The program will prepare students for the examination required to be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. The program meets the competencies outlined by the Association of Gerontology in Higher Education.
