Lyndon Perkins has a map of the United States on the wall of his Adams Hall office, but he has stopped keeping track of all the cities that he visits while recruiting graduate students to NIU. “I told my graduate students, ‘Don’t put any more pins in that map,’ ” laughs Perkins, NIU’s director of Graduate School recruitment and student support services. “It makes me tired looking at it.” (Read more)
