Graduate Council

The Graduate Council is a representative body recognized by the university bylaws. Voting members include both faculty and graduate students.

The council’s primary mission is to establish minimum standards and policy governing admission, retention, and award of graduate degrees. It also determines guidelines for selection of graduate faculty, approves curriculum changes, and promotes scholarship, research, and creative activities by faculty and graduate students.

All meetings begin at 10 a.m. and are held in the Illinois Room, HSC.
